it's the 15th May, and it's time for my regular update of what's flowering in my garden, and if you go on over to Carol's May Dream Garden's you can find out what's flowering all over the world.
The last couple of weeks have been cold and dry, so there are still Tulips showing, with the Alliums just starting to come out
The first of the Centaurea are out
and my iris which a client gave me last autumn are looking great (that's Brunnera Jack Frost in the background)
The Aqueligia's are looking lovely in Pink and Blue
That's red Tulips and yellow Euphorbia in the background
The Dicentra Spectabilis Alba is still doing it's thing
and I love this Clematis Early Sensation, which i'm using as ground cover in amongst my Hostas.
These Camassia's I was a bit disappointed in as the colour is lighter than I expected, and the wallflowers need a stronger colour to set them off, (the tulips planned to come out in harmony are long over!)
Although the front garden flowers are looking good, the back garden flowers mean there will be fruit this year. The apple tree is now over, but Blueberry and Strawberry flowers are a welcome site.

Gorgeous flowers! Your flowers are a little ahead of ours, so it's good to see what we'll have out in a week or so :-)

Those tulips are so vibrant and the aquilegia are so dainty and delicate. Very pretty.

Your tulips are such a treat to see. Mine are long gone--our April was unusually warm, so the tulips opened early and didn't stick around for very long. Love the iris and the aquilegias! Happy Bloom Day!

Beautiful tulips and aquilegias - the dark colors are stunning.
